Racialized Trauma (4.5 hours)

This offering is a community building, three-part, interactive workshop designed to meet the moment with conscious tools and practices for understanding injustice.  Participants will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Black experience through a somatic lens.

The book My Grandmother's Hands serves as the framework in guiding each of the discussions and body-centered practices which explore racialized trauma and the subsequent pathways to mending our hearts and bodies, both individually and collectively.

The groundwork will be laid for actionable next steps for reimagining and (re)creating a culture that serves to embrace a more just, loving, and equitable future for all.

This is an online workshop open to all.
